About the Samson S2000 Power Amplifier

The rugged new S2000 stereo amp from Samson delivers plenty of power, reliability, and protection in live sound situations, commercial installations, and PA situations.

Samson S2000 Power Amplifier Reviews

Feature:
Easy to set up and daisy chain or run parallel or bridged mono. Wish it was 2 ohm stable though.

Quality:
I've had this amp about 1 year and I use it weekly. Never had it shut down or fade. One of the most reliable amps I've owned. Better than QSC or Crown for sound Quality. Enormous pollished aluminium heat sinks(2) and 2 120mm variable fans. Looks like max 100 cfm each. This thing moves a lot of air and keeps really cool. Huge toridal transformer! Amp weighs 53Lbs though, kind of heavy but worth it!

Value:
You get the best sound and power output from Samson than any other brand for the price range.

Desirability:
I just wish you could run 4 ohm stable bridged mono.

Sound:
Crystal clear audio and awesome dampining. Loads of power reserve. Works great using full range or to power subs. Just make sure you plug it in by itself or you will run out of juice.

Support:
I dunno. Never had to use it. Just remember to send in the warranty card so you get 3 years instead of one.

Overall:
I now own the s700 and the servo 550 along with s-com and s-3way. My power rack is all samson and I will never change it! I will be replaceing my s700 w/s1500 for mid bass on triamp setup for more uniform efficency across transducers.

This amp doesn't really makes sense. The XLR Inputs are male, mixers XLR outputs are usually male. It just doesn't make sense.

So your stuck using TRS inputs, which to me don't sound as good as XLR.

Sorry, just get a QSC.
