Samson RH600 Reference Headphones Reviews
Feature: The earpads are soft, without obscuring the sound, and the self-adjusting headband is very comfortable.
Quality: The RH600 is quite well made, but it's not made specifically to take a lot of abuse. Don't kick it around or hack at it with sharp objects, and it should last several years.
Value: Compared to other headphones in the same (even much higher) price range, these ones deliver the sound quality you'll need to make your music sound its best.
Desirability: The comfort of the materials is quite nice, and my friends are invariably jealous when they try them out. Several of my friends have rushed out to buy their own after trying mine.
Sound: The sound is quite good, with bass frequencies extending well into the low ranges that many headphones can't reach, and a flatter frequency response than closed-ear designs are capable of delivering.
Support: I've never had a problem with them, but they do make a few very cheap mics that are sold at rediculously low prices -- stay away from those products.
Overall: I'm quite happy with these cans -- they cost less than half as much as the headphones I might be tempted to replace them with, and I just can't bring myself to pay twice as much money for a minor improvement in quality.
