Feature:
has every feature I could ever need
Quality:
The stereo/mono switch keeps going out, causing the speaker to fail. been repaired twice in 6 months.
Sound:
the sound is quite good, for the price
Support:
All repair shops in my area have stopped doing Samson service. For warrantee work my options were to ship to NY ($80) at my cost or pay an independent tech ($75). I chose the latter for time reasons. I have never been able to get though to their customer service via phone, leaving countless messages.
Overall:
if it would just work consistently, it'd be great...

I own 2 of the EX500 and both failed after very little use. I experienced the same with Samson's service. I emailed and called many many times. I guess my opinion of Samson will have to change with this bad experience. I have various products from Samson and have had good luck. This was the first time I've experienced a lemon product from them and they're sure not interested in helping anyone resolve the problems. That's great that it has a 3 year warranty when they don't bother to help you get any resolve. I'll think twice before buying any more of thier products. |
