Sound:
My first impression was negative but I think my expectations were a bit too high. The more I use these sounds the more I like them. The solo instruments don't quite measure up, but the ensemble strings are really quite good, definitely better than any of the Fantom's onboard strings.
Overall:
32/64 megs just isn't enough to produce the perfect strings library. For better sounds, you'll have to invest in a computer based hard disk sampler. Nevertheless, Roland does a decent job with this library and the zzounds price makes this libary well worth the expense.
