Quality:
I've had this product a little over a month. I have used it a lot. At first it was great. Now, the center pad (#5) is being triggered by the other pads. Also when I play it, it responds erratically. I have tried to calibrate it using the built-in crosstalk adjustments (there is only one adjustment for pads 1-3 and one for pads 4-9 - definitely a limitation) and it doesn't help. I've used a DrumKat for many years and, based on that experience, this feels like the pad's sensor is defective. Now I will have to send it back to the factory and experience Roland's reknowned lack of customer support. Wish me luck.My experience with other Roland products has been positive. I was hoping this would be a solid unit. Oh, well.
