They are larger than I anticipates. They are sturdier built than I anticipated. I like them so well I decided to keep them and donate the 12" Peavey speakers I had purchased for myself. I would recommend these speakers to anyo ne that needs power outside and is still portable by one person. They are AWSOME!.Harmon D. Biehl
