Feature:
The Mic's appearence and packaging are very good. However, the unit I received featured a key lock on the case as opposed to the combonation lock advertised.The shock mount I received had (2) two spots where rust had formed. The finish on the Mic was more than I had expected. In terms of "GEAR-LUST", the overall package was very pleasing.
Quality:
I was disappointed to discover that the rear diaphragm on the unit I received also had a "RIPPLE". I contacted Nady Systems in Emeryville California.I was told that the company was aware of the diaphram problem. I was told that the problem only existed in (1)batch of TCM 1050 mics. My question to NADY was..."If you were aware of the problem and knew which batchwas defective, why did you not recall the defective mics? Perhaps profit proceeds quality control at NADY.
Value:
If the replacement mic I receive works as good as the total package looks, the TCM1050 is an excellent bargin.

When I mentioned to the NADY service rep that I had experienced the "Diaphraagm Ripple" problem which had been reported on ZZoundsuser reviews, his response was "...If it got bad reviews, why did you buy it?...".
