About the Ibanez SR400 Electric Bass Guitar
Ibanez first introduced the Soundgear bass in 1987. That same bass continues to be one of the world's most played basses. Why? Because it is not the same bass. Certainly it's still the sleekest and sexiest. And with all SR models featuring active electronics, it's still the most tonally versatile. It still has the fastest neck. But they've continued to improve and update the Soundgear line.
Ibanez SR400 Electric Bass Guitar Reviews
Feature: What I like about it is the neck's size. It's juste the right size. Also, the EQ-3 band rocks when your guitarist puts you a solo right in the teeth!
Quality: The only problem about it is it's not the PRESTIGE one :P. They are very well made, this thing looks like it's made of rock. I have a backup, but it's in case a tragedy happens
Value: 100% worth it.
Desirability: The Gray Nickel one is just SWEET (the one I own)... When I saw it at the shop, I was just freaked out about the fact it would be mine in a few minutes
Sound: Being a rock bassist, I absolutely adore the metallic sound the Ibanez basses provide. The ring length is amazing (I beat my brothers' Sabian AAXPlosion cymbal)
Overall: I think I will stick long enough with this bass, until I get to be a real beast.
