I had an Ibanez rg550 and I've tried hundreds of guitars before concluding to this axe.
It is one of the best guitars I've ever played and surely the best at such a low price. I'm considering bying a second!
Sounding: for clean sounds this guitar has an acoustic-guitar character, we tried it on several tube-amp heads and we were stunned! As for distortion I don't need to say anything, it's an Ibanez (almost, because it has something of a Gibson and a nice violin-like sound with great mids).
Playability: one of the easiest necks to play, especially if you like your thumb behind the neck and you like stretching positions.
Woods: A common combination and a great quilted maple top that makes this guitar a piece of art (and from behind it's even prettier).
Go test one. If you don't like it, I'll buy it! |
