this guitar has many great features like the pearl inlays, chrome plates over the alcino buckers and cool classic les paul styling

This guitar is very well put together and I have not had any problems with it.
Sound:
I play guitar as a hobby and sometimes play in the local bars. as you already now epiphone is a division of GIBSON musical insrtruments. so therefore it is obviously built with same care as a regular stock sg or les paul. i'd guess that you are wondering why they are so cheap and thatis because epiphone use cost efficient parts. for example this guitar has plain alcino buckers while the gibson has 498 buckers which won't domuch to the sound but is still higher quality.so they replace good parts with average parts inorder to decrease the price while barely doing anything to the sound of th instrument
