About the Epiphone Chet Atkins SST Studio Guitar
This advanced acoustic/electric guitar is a great choice for electric players in search of a fast-playing, comfortable acoustic. The Chet Atkins SST Studio has a piezo pickup and volume and tone controls making it a natural to play on stage. It's shorter 24.75 in. scale and slim body gives the SST an easy-to-handle feel.

Overall: A lot of people think that this is the guitar Dave Matthews plays, but it's not. Dave plays the GIBSON Chet SST, and really he hardly plays it anymore. Dave is now playing mostly Taylor acoustic guitars (his main one is a Taylor 714). I own the Gibson Chet and love it. It sounds fantastic for recording. I do reccomend that you string it with 11's, that is what it was made for, when I've used other gauge strings it is unbelievable how hard it is to keep in tune, but with 11's it is ALWAYS in tune. The Epiphone version is cool and for the price you would be hard press to find a more satisfying guitar!!
