About the Boss DR670 Dr. Rhythm Drum Machine
This compact and affordable drum machine incorporates the waveforms and patterns of the flagship DR-770, while adding features musicians have been asking for: velocity-sensitive pads, a new Bass part, a pad interface designed to emulate a bass guitar fretboard, footswitch control of start/stop and fill-ins, plus Roland's popular Direct Pattern Play function for triggering patterns "on the fly" from the drum pads.

Feature: Bad- Volume control in back. Have to hold down the tempo tap button and rotate the large knob to adjust tempo.
Quality: After 3 months of owning this (I bought it new), I get an errors message ("bak battery low"). This infers that the battery used to store user information is low. I only use this unit for home use and have only used the presets (haven't stored any of my own stuff yet). This pisses me off in that I now have to take the unit back to the dealer to get a new battery installed.
Desirability: If I had to do it over again, I would look at a different unit. Possibly something made by Yamaha. Always had good luck with their equipment.
Support: Really don't know at this point. Will find out when I take unit in to get battery replaced.
