Feature:
It seems to have all the features it needs. Too bad about the attack loss.

Quality seems really high, Boss has a good rep anyway.
Value:
Not a lot of experience buying guitar stuff. A little pricey.
Desirability:
I like the pedal, but only for practical purposes, because it sounds good.
Sound:
It smooths out my sound a little bit and gives it a better quality, the amount of compression doesn't seem to be adjustable. The down side is you lose some attack even when the attack is set to max. This thing adds a lot of sustain! It also boosts the hum off of mysingle coils, ( I guess an NS-2 supressor is next). The level acts more like gain than volume, it will drive your amp at settings above halfway (marshall avt 50). But the sound is smooth and good, and I can't live without all that sustain I've got now, yeah! You just gottaplay with it until you get what you want.

Overall, I like it I'm gonna keep using it. Oh yeah, you can't use this thing with massive gain, it goes nuts. But its OK clean or medium overdrive.
