About the Behringer T1952 Tube Composer

The Behringer Composer Pro has become the industry standard compressor for numerous applications. Today, you'll find stacks of Composer Pros in the racks of professional touring companies as well as in leading studios the world over. Now there's a device that combines the Composer's famous interactive concept with modern tube technology: the Tube Composer T1952.

Behringer T1952 Tube Composer Reviews

Feature:
The features all function exactly as you would expect. I espically like the "WARMTH" part of the circuit.

Quality:
The knobs are digital knobs, except for the warmth knobs. It is better quality than most of their products. I have it in a rack in my home studio, therefore I don't have to lug it around, but it looks as if it can handle a road case.

Value:
Probably one of the best values around!! I did a lot of research, and found other products of similar qualities to be much more expensive.

Desirability:
One of the coolest looking pieces of gear around. The knobs are all retro, and the tubes light up the room. Plus you can't beat the analog meters.

Sound:
The sound is excellent, it doesn't add or take away from the original sound sent through each channel. I mainly use this product for the compression circuit when recording voice, and my bass guitar. It prevents clipping the input on my D/A converter.

Support:
The manual is probably one of the best (informative) manual's I've read. It is loaded with theory, and different ways to use the product.I haven't had to contact support yet.

Overall:
I hope I can use it for the next few years. It is a great compressor and It meets all of my recording needs.
