About the Behringer BX3000T Ultrabass Bass Amplifier Head (300 Watts)

The Ultrabass BX3000T is a massive 300-Watt bass amp head with patented Dynamizer technology, boasting a switchable Ultrabass sub-harmonics processor for unbelievable low-end power and a revolutionary Shape filter for extreme sound range. Since flexibility has become a particularly important factor in the music business over the past few years, modern bass players need to offer a broad range of sounds, but should still be able to play in different kinds of applications at short notice: home recording, studio or live concerts.

Behringer BX3000T Ultrabass Bass Amplifier Head (300 Watts) Reviews

Feature:
yess foot pedal, for sound switching the ultra bass ,mworks good, for getting that deep low korn sound

Quality:
it seems like its made very soild and clean, hopefully it will last a while ive only had it for 2 months but i use it a few timess a week and its still working excelent

Value:
it very worth the selling price every penny nothing comes close to it for the price

Desirability:
its very simple and clean lookinging and i like that and like i said befor very soild feeling

Sound:
this little bass head rocks , i mean for 199.00 and 300w what more could you ask for, i play live 4 nights a week, in clubs ranging from 200 to 3000 people and i needed a good back up amp so i tried this one out,and now i use it for all my small to semi medium gigs.i run 2 mesa/boogie 15s and a hartke 4.5xl, plus you can get a good bass tone, which is hard to get even with high priced heads, i have heads that cost 10 times more than this one, and have tried hundreds of amps, and for under 200 bucks you cant beat it,im sure people are going to nit pick it apart but look on the market and you wont find anything that comes close for the price.. i play rock,metal,alternitive,electronica....

Overall:
ill wear it out im sure , but i will always seek other products

I purchased this head as my first step towards taking bass seriously. The balls and the tone were amazing. Without fail after every show I would have fellow bass players quizzing me on my gear BUT........
2 weeks out of warranty it died so I took it to a local to get it repaired and when he opened it up it was revealed that the wiring wasn't soldered together, it was silicone. That makes the amp an absolute pain in the proverbial to work on!!!! I suppose for o couple of hundred bucks I shouldn't be whinging but, how much harder is it to solder rather than silicon??
