The ADA8000 is a state-of-the art 8-channel A/D and D/A converter with 8 built-in IMP microphone preamplifiers. This ultra-compact 19 in. unit gives you the opportunity to connect analog audio signals directly to a multi-track recorder or similar equipment via the integrated ADATŪ interface -- and needs only 1 rack space for this purpose! In return, you can even connect the digital signal of a multi-tracker via ADATŪ to the 8 analog line outputs of your ADA8000.

GOD, For the Price....... and the features..........
Quality:
will builtbut the stiffness of the knobs are not all the same, (2 of them aren't) but it's not a big deal.

Desirability:
if i have money .... unlimited money......... i would go for others, but i'm satisified and happy!
Sound:
the output isn't as crispy as audigy2zS but clean soundingthe line inputs are good, but don't expect it can be as good as RME'sthe mic preamps are the same as thier UBseries mixers, which it's good for a invisabe preamp. they are not noisey at all!
Support:
I don't know yetbut i know the wareshouse isn't very nice to some others...., well, at least the one who deal with this batch

great value and reasonable quailty!
