My friend uses one in her 20" bass drum for gigs at a large club and a small club. At the large club, it sounds awesome, but for some reason at the smaller club where they have to use their own PA equipment, the mic feeds back like crazy. The only way to get rid of it was to turn down the low frequencies on the EQ, which made the bass drum sound like crap. So really I guess it depends on the PA setup.
