If you are wanting to plug it into your sound board, you will need a 9v battery phantom power supply or the MPA III L phantom power adapter (~$100 usd) that brings the mixers 48-52v phantom power down to the headphones required 9v. It also converts the Mini-XLR to XLR plugin. So figure that into your price comparisons if this is what you are using it for. I didn't and got bit.
