Feature:
Bass roll-off switch is a usefull feature.
Quality:
I used it at live shows, and it took a beating (not from me, I saw two amateur sound guys drop the thing because they didn't know how to use the shock absorber...boy did I rip them a new one).
Value:
If you want a condenser that does everything, this is the mic. It records everything fairly well, but in my experience (I am NOT a professional, so take this with a grain of salt) the only drawback is that it doesn't have one specific thing that it records exceptionaly well.
Sound:
For a $300 microphone, it sounds good. Great for spoken word and back up vocals, but definately a bit too dark for lead vocals unless you are recording tracks for hip-hop. It records aocoustic guitars and percussion well. Also works great on hi-hats. Out of curiosity, I used it on a snare once, and it produced a pretty good "pop" sound.
Overall:
Try it with everything. If you are on a budget and need a "wonder mic", this works well. With EQ, lead vocals can sound good. I have no regrets about owning this product.
